spandit
...you would have thought I would have learnt from before but tripped over today and my live credit card fell right into the RFD's machine again. Not so much damage this time but my £30 of ammo turned out to cost £120 (in fairness, the spare Anschutz 525 mag for £30 was a bargain!) Got a load of .22LR ammo, some of it dirt cheap for plinking as he was clearing out odds and **** (Eley Match for £2.50/50) as well as some Sako FMJ .223 (£15/20) to break my barrel in. Funnily enough, the FMJ box says they're hunting rounds A friend of mine popped round with his S/A 12 bore so we had some fun with that. He's storing his reloading kit at mine too so I'll look at reloading some .223 brass in the future

Guest rimotu66
It happens to us all friend, I think gun shops must pipe some sort of gas into the air, a few days ago I walked in my local one to buy a slab of Eley VIP's, I walked out with the slab .....................................and a Browning Ultra XS , damn the curse of the credit card

houlsby
I have this same problem whenever I enter a gun/reloading shop! My last trip to South Yorkshire shooting supplies cost me almost £250! I only went in for a new primer capping tip as I'd ordered some! Ended up with a full set of new dies, a fancy set of trays, powder, a new hmr mod (just cos I had a spare slot... As you do.. ) several boxes of match kings and vmax and a shed load of little nick naks iv never used!

GOLDCREST
Very nearly fell this afternoon in the local gunshop...Only popped in for a slab of cartridges...But fortunately the thoughts of SWMBO sprang to mind, along with thoughts of the dog eating my Saturday steak if I bought yet another gun......pity I always quite fancied a Mossy pump to add to the collection.
