welshwarrior
20 bore will do anything a 12 at clays if you point it in the right place the cartridges just cost a little more. Some struggle with the lighter gun stopping the swing.
Dominicrobed
Brilliant thank you now to decide , silver pigeon 1, deluxe or classic !
spot.ontheroad
Consider the Browning Cynergy Sporting 20g (with normal stock/recoil pad) Beautiful gun to use. 30" barrels probably best. I have 28" barrels but reckon 30" might have been better. Fabulous gun to use though.

Before that you must just except the facts
sitsinhedges
Have a look at a Franchi Alcione One in 20 gauge. They're great value and very solidly made with far better wood than named guns twice the price. I believe Beretta own the brand too which helps. turbo33
I have an SP1. 20g. Absolutely love it and it does everything the 12 does. After using the 20g the 12g feels like a dead lump. With a lot of help from a couple of PW members, I reload my own carts so cost is a little over half the price of a top cartridge. I have just come back from a walk round with 3 stonking kills that have matched if not bettered any that I have had with the 12g. If one had to go, without hesitation, it would be the 12g

That what I said the light gun makes your swing stop some people will struggle to keep the gun moving with out the extra weight.
