hedd-wyn
Howayyyyaaaa? I decided to take out the Webley Scott bolt action 410 out after work yesterday for a rabbit or two. However, the session was cut short due to it getting dark so frigging early and could only shoot safely for half an hour and only ended up bagging one rabbit. The problem here is that I am not permitted to bring anyone else with me to the permission (even to hold a lamp) so my question is has anyone ever successfully fitted a lamp/torch onto one of these guns? I have already thought about attaching a scope lamping mount but the barrel is tapered and thought this could possibly cause problems. Looking forward to hearing any ideas. Have nice weekend all Heddwch
steve_b_wales
What about the scope/torch mounts that are made of rubber, and have velcro straps? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Torch-Laser-Rifle-Scope-Airgun-Universal-Size-Lamping-Velcro-Mount-/221105382561?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&hash=item337ae864a1 It can be used with a small torch. welshwarrior
Try a Dave G type torch with a scope mount on the bottom of the barrel
hedd-wyn
Top darts Steve, the rubber mounts should do the trick. Come to think of it the recoil was minimal with the 2 /12 inch cartridges I was using the other night so the torch shouldn't creep forward enough to get loose. Try a Dave G type torch with a scope mount on the bottom of the barrel Thanks WW

Thanks WW One side of the mount is smaller than the other, You should be able to strap it tight to the barrel and fit the torch. Good luck. Depending on the size of torch used, you could use two mounts for extra security. I tried one on my Escort semi auto. It did not work loose at all.
