Blackpowder Posted December 21, 2013 Report Share Posted December 21, 2013 Over a lot of years I have formed the impression that in extreme conditions of wind, rain or snow pigeons and wildfowl may opt to miss a day on the feeding grounds if they are safe in a snug sheltered roost. Totally unscientific but I have encountered a lot of disappointments in extreme weather when anticipating a decent flight of either of the above.
