Steve_in_Devon
We were speaking to a breader about adopting a 6 month old Weimaraner, but she has now come back saying he would be appropriate as we have another dog. We have an 8 year old English Springer. The reason is she says that the Weimaraner will not leave out other dog alone. If thought for a 6month old that would be true and it would just take some training. I was looking forward to put the Weimaraner though some gun dog training, but I guess not anymore. kent
sellers prerogative, rightly or wrongly its good to see they are trying to place the dogs were THEY are 100% happy and that is THIER responsibility. Too many place dogs for the cash, you might have the ideal home but not in the eyes of the breeder

The Mighty Prawn
Particularly strong willed dogs though, friend had to rehome one after it decided the living room was his and growled and guarded the door when his mrs tried to go in

PERCE
There's a pair of them worked on a couple of shoots I go to, beating & picking up. I also know that they've been shot over in what is their proper role as pointers. They seem okay but there have been issues of the being where they shouldn't be at times & it doesn't do much for their popularity. I think the bred in general have one or two health issues but the guy that owns these two says they are better for being on a RAW diet. Yes, One wasn't half bad actually (not got the coat for my likes though) Don't take u-tube as meaning much 50% of them talk rubbish and a great load of others are just after free advertising. I sold a pup to someone who used to work and trial one, he seems rather impressed with the difference with a gwp
