fenboy
A new member looking for good advice and you recommend him a Hatsan I don't suppose Churchill yours was one of the FOUR separate Hatsans I saw shooters trying to un-jam at the flush last weekend ? If they are as good as any semi , why have you spent all that extra money on the two browning maxus in your signature ? Anyway for a sensible answer have a look at a Beretta 303 and also consider a Remington 1100 /1187
bullet23
Believe it if not that's what I already have! Ha been thinking if selling it and putting a few quid to it and getting something a little better

CaptainBeaky
If you don't mind having the ability to shoot roman candles as well, you could look at a Baikal MP153 - you shoulod be able to get one under your budget and have change for a flat or two of cartridges! pigeon-hunter
Believe it if not that's what I already have! Ha been thinking if selling it and putting a few quid to it and getting something a little better I have just been a Similar thing looking for a semi, iv never shot a hatson or seen one so I can't say either way on it but the only reason I didn't get one, was when I researched them there was so much bad feed back on them, and on the main stream beretta, browning, Winchester even lanber I couldn't find one bad feed back, all good. I looked at a Winchester 1100 but was in rough condition and the lop was only 14" found a couple of beretta 302 once again quite bad condition. Found a really nice beretta 303 but it was £595 plus it had been sold. In the end I found a lanber for £195, when I went to look at it I thought something must be wrong at that price but I don't think they new what they had as it was mint. So the moral of my story is don't rush there are plenty out there. Hold out for the one you want.

You would definitely be able to pick up a Beretta 303 or a Remington for that money , if you could push it up to £500 you would then be looking at Beretta 391 s which are a cracking gun. throdgrain
I've had quite a few semis and pumps, but have come back to the Remingtons not out of financial necessity, as my first 1100 was, but from a first choice. They are great guns, I paid about £675 for my 11-87 brand new, but you could get an 1100 for £400 secondhand easily.

Monkey Nuts
I picked up a beretta 303 on here earlier this year for £350. Great gun, better than a mates hatsan by miles!
