I am arranging a bit of a competition between my scooter club and our neighbouring club. I usually go to the grouse in hayfield but thought if I can get some gen, we might go here. Do they hire out guns as don't want he bejesus knocking out of mine. Is it friendly etc. any info would be greatly appreciated

Is this the ground down the lane past the factory, next to shire hill?mossy lea?used to live in old glossop as a youngster way before had an intrest in shooting, might try it if i manage to get back up there!yes

Yes the road from the Queens Pub past the factory towards Mossy Lea , I used to work at Issac Jacksons at Hawkshead Mill just off Hope St , father in law still lives in a cottage in factory grounds ( factory shut yrs ago) and when the club was open before I used to hear the shooting on sun morns .

I remember shooting at the club when it was in Charlesworth before it moved to Old Glossop but cant recall where it was situated , off Coombs Rd perhaps ?

No moved out when I started to work in Manchester , didn't fancy the drive out of Glossop up Mottram Moor each day , all family still live there and we are only 15 mins away in Stalybridge .
