woodfordpigeon
We decided to have a walk around day Saturday hoping for good weather . It went well with the four of us starting at 10am.By 3pm we bagged 23 pheasants a pigeon and a snipe. Tuesday I went stalking and had Roe Doe. The others didn't want any birds so I have my work cut out now. A great day with old friends. woodfordpigeon

The Mighty Prawn
Mine was awful, really super bad, 14 shots for no pigeons, the wind dropped and they were sneaking in like ninjas, by the time I'd seen them it was snapshot and hope for the best. Took out my frustration on a squirrel who got 32gms of no 6 from twenty yards, then another 32 to finish off, he was actually very unlucky as I was lining up his neighbour in the distance when he came down right in front of me, took one for his buddy though. Roll on next weekend!

nderfel
Whenever I have had a bad day I try and remind myself that at least I've been outside in the country, usually over a pint of best on the way home to a house full of screaming children

Roll on next weekend! That squirrel deserves a medal for act of bravery. Takes a good man to admit he was beaten by the woody. good shooting woodfordfallow

Roll on next weekend! Same as mate. 9 shots for Zip... Wouldn't mind but it's a bit of slog getting the kit in there, and I sat all day for very little action. Then whenever anything did occasionally come to the decoys, I missed it. ... Shot a big old crow in the end , which I don't normally bother with, but he was just the tall poppy.
