simon6ppc
i seem to have fox fever at the moment as me and chana went out again last night to a united utilities farm where i have a pass, as usual it was very quiet the moon was up which didn't realy help,so we tried a few different squeaks with no response to be honest, any way when we where driving away we spotted two sets of eyes in a field on the side,so i stopped the car jumped out and took a good 250 yard shot off the roof on the first one which went with a nice thud, the dog then ran to 280 ish may be a bit more, stopped to look back for his honey,so i let loose again and god dam missed which i hate to admit ,lol, but its not to easy shooting off the top of your car,can be hard work at times,so got the vixen and i sense he will be there for a few nights now so i could catch up with him as i did the other fox the other night if i shape my self next time,ha ha.cheers simon
Paul223
We all miss sometimes, I missed twice in one night not so long back, I was that disgusted in myself I asked Rob to take over! On our next outing Rob had a miss so I whispered in his ear. "Glad it's not just me who misses"

JDog
Leave the vixen in a field where you have easy access and the shot would be safe. The dog may come back to sniff her out.
