I think it was Poontang or Evil Elvis that ordered it first,

And I thought what the hell......When in rome..........

Was that the one when Matt "ME" came via Heathrow after following his sat nav?

:shaun:

I think you'll find I ordered 'jailbait'.

Yes, that's when Matt's Porche's built in sat nav took us via Heathrow after he disabled the default setting..... which would have taken us to Poland. :ninja:

It's great to see that Sporting Targets has got a few mentions already, as I have already spoken with them. At the PW charity shoot 2011 they put on a very good day, with a good clubhouse.

Prices have gone up since three years ago, however they have agreed to match the same rate. Whilst there are plenty of grounds in the country, there are not all that many that are centrally (ish) positioned and offer a clubhouse sufficient to house 80+ shooters for the prize giving and raffle.

Bearing in mind the Catton Hall shoot (17th) and the bank holidays on the weekend of 3rd and 24th May, and that ST are unable to do the 10th May. The date for the 2014 PW Charity Shoot will be Saturday 31st May.

The format will be the same as previous years - squads of 6 with referees supplied by the ground, and the clay shoot will be 100 bird sporting, with a bacon roll to start the day and complimentary tea/coffee available.

Last time it was there we stayed at a nearby premier Inn which had a pub/restaurant on site

First time I had ever tried "whitebait"

:shaun:

I was happily eating whitebait until with my teeth I pulled the batter off half way along and realised instead of fish tasting snack, it was in fact a WHOLE FISH!

I would like to get in on this event. Does it matter if I'm not all that great at the clays?

Nope, it's all for charity and a chance to put faces to names

It's all about enjoying the day and having fun
