bornfree
I find a low recoil shell such as comp x makes a bigger difference than any pad.
HDAV
Personally found a 14mm isis green pad very very good i used to use a browning reactar pad in my vest the isis is far better than the reactar so its gone.... isis http://www.recoilsystems.com/greenpad/green.asp Reactar https://www.gilsansports.com/product/Browning_reactar_G2_gel_pad/

deershooter
Man up Dr Lecter do some weights build up that right shoulder at your weight recoil should not bother you it's not like you are 7 stone are you Shure your gun fits you ? Mind you you don't keep them long enough to learn them by muscle memory Deershooter
Gordon R
I'm with HDAV on this. My youngest is very, very strong and muscular, but uses a gel pad in his skeet vest, due to a smashed shoulder - motocross injury.
kent
If the gun fits and your mount is good fit a pad under your jacket etc.

Will Poon
No it was already fitted to the gun, I was going to change it is an isis pad but I decided not to, quite a few people comment on it as it has an unusual shape and it feels like a marshmallow ! BlaserF3
No it was already fitted to the gun, I was going to change it is an isis pad but I decided not to, quite a few people comment on it as it has an unusual shape and it feels like a marshmallow ! It works though, so why think about changing it and it's not slippery when it's in your shoulder To the OP why not just shoot a decent 24gm load? Will Poon
I take your points thanks , I will try some 24g , but are they any good at range ?I shoot with blaserf3 and he uses 24g all the time and he's a great shot with them at long range clays , mind you it depends in what you would call long range stuff
HDAV
24g is the max for Olympic disciplines like OT/DT and they don't miss much....... The recoil can still be felt though. Get an Isis fitted I don't think it will disappoint.....
Westley
Another for the Isis pad. Give David Izzard at Recoil Solutions a call and have a chat. A very helpful guy.
kent
If your struggling, I do have a slip on shoulder pad that's not being used. Thin but will take the hurt out of a .
