new to the flock
How many hunters do you know that put ducks in their refrigerator without cleaning them first, and if you were the hunter and the duck raised its head would you not just twist its neck? Anti Propaganda me thinks NTTF

palombier
Hi all I'm sorry to disagree about this but have none of you never shot a duck that has feigned death (something for which they are noted). This same thing happened to a friend of mine many years ago. He kept his shot game in an outside fridge. Shortly after he had been out shooting his daughter went to the fridge to get some milk and as she opened the door out jumped a teal which scuttled across the garage floor. She was on the verge of becoming a vegetarian and that made up her mind for her as she hasn't eaten meat since. Regards P

Regards P i can't comment on a duck but a friend of mine did a similar thing with a rabbit , he shot a bolting rabbit with a shotgun , he then pee'd it , legged it , and put it on his belt , he carried on walking around the shoot for a couple of hours before going back to the car , at the landy he took it off his belt and put it in the back ready for gutting , a soon as it was out of his hand it bolted out of the car , across a field and into a hedge :blink.
