wildrover77
What is the reason for tailoring it to shooters?

HDAV
Erm just put your ICE details in your phone....... Whats gun ICE for exactly? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4674331.stm http://www.smartdriving.co.uk/Driving/Driving_emergencies/ICE.html Nearly 10 years old now! jimmyb79
Erm just put your ICE details in your phone....... My problem would be that both my personal iPhone and work phone are pass code locked. This is a good idea, but it looks like a cumbersome bit of kit. My mates a motorcyclist and he's got similar but in dog tags which are more compact.
bullet boy
Personally I like the idea. A friend of mine had a heart attack whilst out shooting and he didn't have any contact details on him at the time.
GingerCat
Details in a wallet will do.
Medic1281
Memory stick ones are no use. The hospital will not put any unauthorised memory stick into their computers. They have no way of knowing if there is any malicious software on them.
arjimlad
I carry a little printed card when cycling with details of next of kin, blood group, phone numbers, etc, so that the motorist who knocks me out needn't spend too long distracted from their much more important journey. They can simply call my wife as they speed away, always assuming they get out of the car to check my pockets, that is. Or if I fall off on an icy bit into a ditch, get concussion and am collected by a van load of Scandinavian nurses on tour, they know who to call when they have finished with me. Hadn't thought about similar when out with a gun, though.
Beretta06
Our local ambulance service peddled these to old and vulnerable people around 20 years ago. The storage container was made from an old plastic film tube (shows how long ago!!) and they were kept in the fridge or freezer - hence 'ICE' having more meaning. As firefighters, we would always look in the fridge of any people we went to help -presuming they needed help, not just to rob a sandwich!! It was surprising how many times the fires were in ICE houses. Good scheme.

figgy
See plenty of fluorescent ice stickers on hard hats with a pull rip off tab for info, very good and easy to see. Great for cyclists to put on their crash hats. I know a cyclist who would benefit from one of these to warn the emergency services that when angry or provoked he can become very unpleasant figgy
