I should be there in the morn but will have to leave by 12 as I'm working afternoon and I'll have some complete hardox targets and frames for sale if anyone wants any.

Just a thought like, but can you not get chains made out of hardox?

For you know who? Lol

  • 2 weeks later...

Hoping to be there on 22nd :good:

I MIGHT have figured out what was up with my rifle; I tried some lead bullets I was given and I'm guessing copper solvent doesn't shift lead very well :hmm: Anyway, a real good scrub with the phosphor bronze brush and I put a couple of 1/3 moa groups down at the weekend so may be good news drinks.gif.pagespeed.ce.9olfNKsCP-.gif

On the other hand, I'm hoping to get it re-barrelled in something deer legal (possibly .260) later in the year so all's not lost either way - just need to decide and get variation hopefully.

Just make sure when setting up the chronograph you do not cross the line. Follow the instructions or you get told off.

You must 1st notify the range officer, who will then call a cease fire throughout the entire county. You will then be given 3 minute's (exactly) as per the RCO code of practice manual, to set up your chronograph.

You then inform the RCO you are in a safe position behind the end the booolits come out. He will then yawp

COMENCE FIRING.

I'll be there too just to make sure its done right, cus I've had experience of the procedure.
