hawkeye
I bought some from them a couple of months ago paid extra £70+ for the extra long ones . I have has and used some of there's for quite a few years and was happy with them that is why i bought the new ones so i had a spare set. Went to use them the other day and all the plastic ends where you hook the net on fell out when turned them upside down to put in my carry bag, they were not even glued in just pushed in loose not happy for the price paid i will now have to get some gorilla glue and sort them my self.. Dbw1shrops
I had the same with mine, a mate dropped one in the long grass whilst out decoying and had to order some more but they only come in sets of 4 for £7 ! I've put some ptfe tape round them now. There quality poles though and should last a long time. Also got 2 of the extending supports but very rarely use them as there pretty sturdy without them. Atb Dave Thats my point they are very good poles and not cheap so you would think they would make sure they didn't drop to pieces before sending them out... Dbw1shrops
Yeah I know I rang him up about it and all he said was he struggles to get the tops in ! But still charged me to send some more out
EMcC
I bought some of the green electric fencer posts from Scatts, they not only have a spike to stick in the ground but have 'hooks' spaced up the post which are handy to hold the net in place. They come in two sizes, short and long, I got the long which is just about the right height when sat down. I cannot remeber the price but I think they were around £10 for six. The Essex Hunter
The b & q washing line poles are ( £3.00) and very similar, however they have no foot plate or spike. It took me 10 mins to copy a foot plate with some off cuts in the work shop. A mate has brought 8 of them so will check the dia and make plates suit. For the spike I will just cut a sharp angle on bit of ally and use that as a spike. I want to use the extra length to make a hide for crows etc so I can have a roof on the hide but not the usual small window out the front. In my net bag I have 6 poles, 4 of the good quality ones and 2 pinewood, 5 to make my hide, and the 6th to stop the net from billowing in when it is windy. Remimax
hide poles with a solid cast Aluminum foot spike and plate like the ones sold by AA decoys, the other ones have the foot plate riveted to the thin tube which are are pants. for £25 for 4 not worth moding washing poles imo
Guest stevo
thats OK but you should not have to do it ... there NOT ment to be fixed , there done like that so you can replace them if broken , the same with ALL the products , there all modular , you only have to nip them with a pair of grips
mick miller
Got mine from the pigeon shooter on the bay. £20 for four poles with delivery. Frankly, I see little point at the moment in spending more.

Cammokasi
i don't noramlly big up Jack Pyke, but the one thing they do i like is their hide poles, there's a double spike at the botton, because theres a treadplate with points on the end as well as the spike itself. had them 3 yrs and still going strong, unlike my Jack Pyke wellies!!! bit don't get me started on them!!!!!!!!!
