islandgun
I can't pass a drop when guys do that. I just stand there and have to pretend I've been. Man, the things I admit to on here! As for that John Craven, I always knew he was a closet winkle looker. Your honesty is commendable. I think! That's nothing, I can't use stand ups full stop. The German cleanliness freak in me has a fit when I see all those droplets of someone else's slash spraying back at me. Stand ups are an abomination! Unless you like pee spattered troos that is? Does this apply only with urinals or also behind a tree for example You dint realise how much wizz goes on your trousers with a urinal til you have one in shorts. To counter the effect i never stand less than 4ft from it. Thats not weeing thats flashing
Dirty Harry
Watching Adams pet farm where nothing ever dies or gets hurt is a shot of joy to all How about all of his cattle that have tested positive for TB that have had to be slaughtered? Man o kent
Adam, being a PROPER farmer, he must have pest management routine. Funnily enough, I can't ever remember him mentioning on The BBC how he deals with foxes, pigeons and rabbits?
Dirty Harry
Probably like most other farmers but he's not in charge of the BBC's content or editing is he?
Man o kent
Then it's not a realistic portrayal of farming. Just a cling film wrapped, sterile view that acceptable for townies and the ignorant
mick miller
Does this apply only with urinals or also behind a tree for example My own urine is acceptable so tree's-a-go-go. It's watching the misty spray from someone else land on me strides that I find a little off putting. It appears to be worse when the upright urinal is the metal type with complimentary mint imperials. Penelope
He shoots from what I understand. Not that it'll be mention on Country File. Adam, being a PROPER farmer, he must have pest management routine. Funnily enough, I can't ever remember him mentioning on The BBC how he deals with foxes, pigeons and rabbits? Man o kent
I'm well aware what's involved in farming, I'm a countryman who has contact with farmers every week! No, I don't think he would upset the bbc as he has done very well out of it. Nothing like a bit of free advertising for all that brand new machinery, and animal sales to middle class folk with more money than sense. But country file does little to portray the struggle farmers are up against as the government, E U, and animal rights mutters, make feeding the nation more difficult/expensive. Let me ask you a question, do you think Adam, given his celebrity status could do some publicity to help farmers in the less palatable aspects of farming? smig4373
Adam, being a PROPER farmer, he must have pest management routine. Funnily enough, I can't ever remember him mentioning on The BBC how he deals with foxes, pigeons and rabbits? He did say in one episode that he uses gas bangers and that other local farmers employ shooters to control the birds.....never a mention of a knackerman tho...a little bit to unsavourly for the viewing public... Dirty Harry
I've have had some animals off him and I'm not middle class with more money than sense. They were very reasonably priced actually. Farming is a business and some farmers are not very good at it and that is why they struggle. Don't blame Adam just because he's making money. What aspects of farming do you think he should be showing the public?
norfolk dumpling
Every tv programme which attempts to portray any type of countryside activity either misses the point completely or is so sanitised or distorted we do not recognise what is happening. CF is probably the nearest we will ever get to reality so unless you can get programme makers to change (not in my lifetime I suspect) we must just live with this and change channels. I'm resigned to switching tv off on a sundayaevening.
ack-ack
What aspects of farming do you think he should be showing the public? I reckon he should show the virile ag student going through the local lasses like billy-o in the village pub during harvest.

It appears to be worse when the upright urinal is the metal type with complimentary mint imperials. Well thats a relief ! I do remember spraying a young lad who was misfortunate enough to stand to close at an urinal probably traumatised him for life (may have been you) incidently the mint imperials are awful, I think countryfile is in the slot that used to be taken by such things as last of the summer wine or that vets thing with nurses etc as such it conforms with comfortable Sunday nights with yer feet up.
