malkiserow
I have a newish Ford with a built in low profile solid roof rail. I am looking for some roof bars to fit on it and use it for many years to come. Looking in Halfords today there seems to be Thule and Exodus systems. Does the PW massive have any experiences of these? Or maybe there are other rail manufacturers I can get a better deal from?
malkiserow
Does nobody use a roof rack?

markm
Bought genuine Vx ones for my mokka from the dealer. Half the price of thule model. Only thing is they are roof width rather than overhang. It can be a squeeze if you want to fit everything on.

humperdingle
I got Thule bars for the Jimny about 3 years ago. Apart from maybe a couple of months, they've been on constantly. Roofbox gets attached maybe a handful of times per year. I'd previously wasted £40 or £50 on a 'cheaper' pair, which rusted internally (had an outer plastic cover), and dripped rusty water all over the car. The Thule bars look as good now as they did when new... apart from bug splats
spanj
I've had my thules for 10yrs+ and used them on 4 cars (all mid sized estates), good as gold........... you do get what you pay for with these.
