Dunkield
Have a look at the Harris Sportsmail site, they bombard me with emails about their spinners/plugs etc. I only ever fly fish for them so can't halp other than that. tiercel
Many Many years ago when we used to spin for trout. There was a rule of thumb that we used to use. On a bright day and clear water the Black Fury was the mepp to use in size 0-2 . On a windy over cast day and clear water a copper mepp was used. On a windy overcast day and dirty water then it was either a gold or silver, size 1-3. Using those rules of thumb we used to achive some good results. A mepp with a minnow trailing behind used to sort out some real big fish. You can find Mepps of all types here. These are the trailing minnows we used to use for larger trout. Big Angus
Hi Mick, It all depends on the size and depth of the water you are fishing. Meps or tobbies will do, myself i prefer tobbies. Either 7g or 10g's. Blue and Silver, Green and Gold would be my preference, for salmon or trout. Stevie
