sako751sg
Think a pic of the GF is needed before we recommend a make and model!
saddler
Think a pic of the GF is needed before we recommend a make and model! +1 I don't want to swap a good gun & end up with a right munter, again...

welshwarrior
Fias 20 bores are good guns also sold as Browning Medalist, if your on a budget. Or beretta if you've got a bit more. Fit and balance is vital for ladies if you've not noticed the have different bits and shapes to bloke in face neck and chest areas.
kent
As above go with fitting, ladies guns really do need a different shape to them but its not too radical an adjustment

HDAV
An off the peg gun will likely need altering to fit, a trusted gunsmith/coach needs to see her shoot and try her out in a few different guns. Why 20bore? More choice in 12 cheaper to feed less chance of a potentially fatal mix up and you can a 12 as light as the lightest 20bores
ehb102
Get a light-barrelled 12G, get it fitted and a good recoil pad put on the back. Then give her 21g cartridges. You'll soon have saved the cost of a new 20 bore. £50 per thousand roughly comparing Hull CompX to Hull Pro 20.
