Lee Enfield No4 Mk1 .410 Conversion & Ejector Issues

Hi everyone

Just wondered what your thoughts were on these as I have just purchased one?

I'm heading up to Bisley tomorrow to have it looked at as it does not like to extract cartridges and they also get stuck in the chamber when the bolt is closed... Any thoughts on this???

Anyway, purchased from a private collector who was thinning his cabinet for his holiday fund. Hasn't been shot in years but bares all appropriate marks, stamps and certificates (mag restriction etc).

What do you think of them?

Mike!

For those who are interested, went to Fultons today and was told the previous owner had entirely replaced the spring with a bit of rubber.

New spring inserted and its cycling well - a bit stiff but well!

Many thanks for all your help!

collectors eh......... guns are made for shooting not looking at
