smudgertoo
You can't really go wrong with the 'quickstep' range.
tomp875
Quickstep all day for me, easy to fit and lasts much longer than any cheaper stuff
lexikia
Don't buy cheap stuff, bought some from Wickes a few years ago and it's ****. But the quick step we have in the living room for over 15 years is still in excellent nick. It weren't cheap at the time but proved to be a good buy
Paddy Galore!
do you and yours wear shoes in the house? if so then i'd suggest an engineered board. actually, I'd recommend that you take them off cos it's just dirty, but as an engineered or solid board once scratched can be repaired easily, the vinyl stuff can't. team tractor
I fitted the cheapest focus stuff I could find over 7 years ago in my living room . It's still really good and that's with 2 kids , 2 cats and me wearng my work boots . It's how you fit it mostly . Quick step range is better tho

andypaint
If you've got dogs that walk on it can drive you nuts on laminate as the pitter patter can go on for hours

Paddy Galore!
never heard of kronos, used to fit tarkett stuff years ago which is good stuff, just bought some schrieber stuff from homebase as it was on offer to clear the shelves, damp proof ,splash proof, and 25yr guarantee apparently, well we'll just see about that then
