How would describe clay shooting?

You enter the arena, trying to calm the surge or adrenalin and steady the nerves.

Slowly you load your weapon, years of muscle memory coming into play as you run through the coming shots in your mind.

Mount, swing, squeeze the trigger, not snap it, and watch those clays turn into dust.

Listen to the bloke behind as he tells you how you did it all wrong, should've bought a Beretta and your feet are pointing in the wrong direction. In all his years and experience he's never seen a worse shot, despite you hitting them both.

You depart and watch as he goes in and misses all 10.

Smile.

Walk away.

Copied this from the fullbore page -

fullbore pistol or shotgun??

"A test of patience and skill, Full Bore Shooting is unique to the Commonwealth Games.

Rifle, pistol or shotgun? Athletes can take their choice, but each requires varying skills to maintain a steady and accurate hand.

All eyes are rooted to the targets straight ahead.

Spectators glance at the wind flag. The slightest shift in wind speed and direction is all it takes to blow the shot. In split seconds, vital calculations are made.

No one dares blink.

A succession of rapid bangs rattles the air. The athletes hold steady as their bodies discharge the full force of the rebound. Only a precision hit will guarantee maximum points.

A deceptive calm blankets the range.

Has Gold been won?"
