cfdave
Hi all im looking at possibly buying a french hunter semi auto but can't find any info about them. I was wondering if anyone on here has ever had one or could point me in the direction of somewhere where I can get some info. Thanks in advance

Scully
If you mean Franchi, then in my opinion they are very under-rated shotguns and the company was bought by Beretta some years ago and is still owned by them as far as I know. I have no experience of the Hunter so can't pass comment but for whatever reason these guns don't seem so desirable and are therefore relatively cheap. I did once own a 720 Franchi which I bought for my nephew when he was much younger, and thought it was a fabulous gun.

figgy
Don't want a French semi auto very fussy on what you feed them, red wine and garlic normally. Now a Franchi is a different beast, decent gun for less than the mainstream ones fetch. The raptor model looks nice. Figgy
Rimfireboy
Franchi autos are good in my experience. My mate had a raptor and he really regrets selling it, and he's had a fair few autos over the years, including Beretta's, Remington's etc.
