bluesj
I was given a slab of paper case cartridges today, they must be getting on for 30 years old, now out of interest what do the good people of Pigeon Watch think I should do? 1 use them pigeon shooting on Thursday or 2 keep then for the times I take my old side by side out (a slab would last me another 30 years)

Whitebridges
A word of warning. Check the cartridges in your gun. They can swell up and jam in the chamber. If i were you i'd also take a cleaning rod with you so you can push a case or cartridge out if it sticks. Paper cased cartridges are a joy to shoot but i've seen them stuck in a barrel many times.
