young airgunner
god im seriously angry. bloody little kids from my street have smashed the window of my car with a football. i live in a small cul-de-sac and its way to small to play football in and they have been kicking balls around and hitting cars for the last couple of weeks. the parents dont care the slightest bit and let them just go on doing it. i was sat in my living room when i hear a knock at the door. my dad gets up to open it to the lad that lives 2 doors down and his dad to say he has just kicked a ball through my car window. after my dad coming back in the room looking rather angry, he tells me the good news. i blimmin flipped, those little ******** have finally damaged someone's car, why does it have to be mine. after about 2 hours of cleaning shattered glass out of my car and car park, i finally have sum polythene over the window and am awaiting monday morning to call the garage. what really gets me is that the parents dont seem to give a damn and they didnt even offer to help clear up. well they will be getting a nice fat bill through their door. sorry for the rant, just good to let it out a bit cheers james

mossy835
that will not help at all.the kids in my street broke the back window in my wifes car, and i had two pay £130 for it.the kids mother had no money.and we were not insured for it,
pin
Your insurance will cover the cost and it won't affect your no claims, usually. You just have to pay the excess which is normally about £60. I would obviously be passing on the bill to the parents. Some kids next to me were left "home alone" by their parents and were obviously having a party which spilled into to the street, they started kicking a footy about and the mrs went out to move her car out the way. She got a mouthful off some of the girls standing there and the lads wouldn't move for her so she could reverse. I went out and they were as good as gold after we had a little frank discussion about the football being near my car and them badmouthing the mrs. She got an apology and they moved off up the road to annoy someone else. Its amazing what a Geordie accent and a 19st frame will do for you

Lurch
the parents dont care the slightest bit and let them just go on doing it. Ain't that just the truth! I had cause to shout at some brats damaging a lamp post outside my house, his rat faced ***** of a father comes out and has a go at me! When I told the bitch next door what her charge was doing I got told that "Children have a right to play, dogs don't have a right to bark" My dog only barks when her little *** is winding him up On the positive side mate, at least they fessed up. young airgunner
and when they go out and play you grumpy lad pick on them for breaking you windowits not that bad mate and park your car out the way MY car was parked in MY car parking space. there is no room in out little car park and the little brats have been told. i was never allowed to boot a football around the small car park as it is just to small. their whole families are low lifes, they dont care. i will be lucky to see the money of them. cheers james
Dirty Harry
Bit of a ****** but to be honest I am impressed that the kid has told his parents and thet they came to own up. You said the parents dont care but obviously they do or they would not have bothered. Harry
