HDAV
Are they Teague thin wall? Or in a factory mc barrel? Stand the barrels in a bucket of diesel (chokes in derv) deep enough to cover the threads for a couple of days
Bob90
Yeah there thin wall and take it diesel won't remove the blue from barrels?
Westley
No the blueing will be quite safe. As suggested stick the barrels in a container of diesel, the plastic soup containers from Morrisons make good containers for diesel and can be binned afterwards. Leave for at least 2 days and retry Teague choke key, if still no joy then contact Nigel Teague. Once having got the chokes out, clean them by leaving in the diesel for a further day and wipe clean. Apply suitable gun grease or a heavy oil before refitting.

BlaserF3
One of these will remove them with no damage http://www.midwayuk.com/epages/Midway_UK.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Midway_UK/Products/112007
steve_b_wales
One of these will remove them with no damage http://www.midwayuk.com/epages/Midway_UK.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Midway_UK/Products/112007 +1. I bought one of these and it did help remove a tight choke. After removing, coat the threads with Copper Slip grease.
figgy
I have found after a soaking if it still won't come out tapping the top of the wrench with a small hammer usually does the trick. Bit like a impact wrench. Like the look of the Carlson speed wrench with the expanding rawl nut in the middle. Figgy
ChrisAsh
very Hot water over the last 4 inches should make the barrel expand quicker than the choke and therefore loosen it
maddog546
Have you tried firing a string of shots through the gun,as if mind are tight, two stands of clays usually means you can unscrew them easily
