teague choke removal

No the blueing will be quite safe. As suggested stick the barrels in a container of diesel, the plastic soup containers from Morrisons make good containers for diesel and can be binned afterwards. Leave for at least 2 days and retry Teague choke key, if still no joy then contact Nigel Teague. Once having got the chokes out, clean them by leaving in the diesel for a further day and wipe clean. Apply suitable gun grease or a heavy oil before refitting.

I have found after a soaking if it still won't come out tapping the top of the wrench with a small hammer usually does the trick. Bit like a impact wrench.

 

Like the look of the Carlson speed wrench with the expanding rawl nut in the middle.
