TIGHTCHOKE
I was fortunate to finish a days work on Sunday at 11:00, nipped home, unloaded the wife's car post shopping trip and went out to the fields at 13:00. I went to several fields and watched, I then returned to the field that showed most promise. The hide was quickly erected and a simple pattern placed out in front of me with the northerly breeze coming from my left. A steady couple of hours resulted in a small bag. In amongst the birds were four very young pigeons without neck bars. The 28 Gramme 6 shot Proper Cartridges worked very well through my old side by side. TIGHTCHOKE
Good to see it's not only me uses a sxs nowadays! Is it a yeoman? No Mate, it's a £50:00 Wabbitbosher special! A pleasant afternoon and good sport. Had the field been drilled? No JD, it's a failed pea field that had been knocked back and then turned in, there are a few peas chitting and a few on the surface!
