Lincoln barrels

Lincoln is an Overbranding name applied to all guns imported by David Nickerson up until about 5 years ago when he retired and sold the brand to John Rothery Wholesale.

So a "Lincoln" could be made in different factories depending on its age.

The Lincoln No2 sideplate is a common gun, many about, but these were made by Emilio Rizzini, who ceased production in the mid '90's. They are not the same gun as the later I Rizzini ( FAIR) guns currently sold as Lincoln.

Original spares for No2's by E Rizzini have long been exhausted, and these guns can now be anything up to 30yrs+ old, so there are plenty of "end of life" guns around with issues from which spares salvage can be obtained.

As noted, how-ever, barrels from a donor gun will need letting into another action, and the advice its probably cheaper and simpler to buy another complete gun is wise advice.
