rich1984
im looking at getting a semi auto to use as a rough gun aswell as on the clay ground in rubbish weather, I know lots of people will say buy a better make second hand but I think ive made my mind up to have new, ive seen lots of good things written about the armsan a612. im just wondering on peoples feedback before I order one ? comes in at £395.00 for the a612 in synthetic black, with a warrenty and piece of mind ( hopefully ) I know resale will be lower but I cant see any other downsides to them ? thanks
Luckyshot
Had mine for 2 years now no problems at all and it cost £340 then.
figgy
Team wild use them and sing there praises. To be honest not read a bad review of one yet, so they must be doing something right. Seem to be a lot of gun for the money. But for a another hundred or so you could get a Winchester SX3 second hand. Figgy
strangford wildfowler
I seen them ATA semi autos in synthetic for the same money and to be honest I would rather have the ata than the arm Stan MHO
Richard756
I have got one. Only problem I had was the stock come loose when I put 100 3" through it. Tightened it up and carried on. Never had a problem cycling had mine for 2 years. And it feels like a beretta to shoot

rich1984
i was looking at a new one down here, syn £365 new. Thats a great price, ive ended up paying £430 because the lower price was an hours drive away and i simply dont have the time lately, bit gutted about paying the extra, but £ 35 extra is better than a 2hr round trip + fuel ( i suppose ) hi rich look at the other thread as well started by nickb65 1 sept, only he listed as armsam Dont seem to be able to find it, probably because im limited on my phone ? My fault not the phones

rich1984
Just got back from the 1st outing on the clays, i have to say the gun performed well cycled 125 carts with no issue or jams they were 28g - 7.5's - 70mm. I had a few loose 32g 6's in my bag so tried these too with hardly and recoil felt !!!! Seems a good gun for the price, next outing im going to have a play with the chokes ( i cant remember which 1 i put in ) as i missed a few id have nailed with my beretta silver pigeon. rich1984
just been out again for an hour after work, tried some 67mm fiocchi 28g which it didn't like id say I shot 20 ish and 4 jammed, so as said before ill now only use 70mm, when using express power blue 28g 70mm it cycles spot on. another thing I find is the rib is set down ever so slightly so I find myself sighting through a little lower but like any gun I suppose its trial and error. guns still tight and nice to shoot shot around 300 through it now so not a real test. rich1984
Quick update, its fired around 600 shells now all 70mm, im using hull superfast 27g at the min and these seem an excellent paring with the armsan, its cycling fine and is still tight with no problems. Dan.
What are these guns like for clay shooting? Edited January 26, 2015 by Dan.
rich1984
What are these guns like for clay I find mine excellent, ive got the armsan and a beretta silver pigeon and i find myself favouring the armsan, i find it easier to shoot with and get the same results as with the o/u. You do get people look at you funny i must admit however they soon bow there heads when you dust what they miss ! I consider mine money well spent Edited January 26, 2015 by rich1984
