Pykie
Returned this morning to the same wood I shot last week, expecting to get half a dozen or so squirrels. Started off slow, only getting two in the first half hour. An unlucky woodpigeon fell as it clattered into the oak tree I was stood under. Then I had a nice left and right as two squirrels scrambled up a dead tree, followed by three more in the next three minutes, all from the same position. I ended the morning with 15 squirrels and the woodpigeon. Will have another go next week as there are still some there. All shot with my 28 auto. figgy
You must have enough now for a squizzer fur coat and Davey Crockett hat. Good going, 28 bore is a lovely size for taking a wander with. Figgy
