Cled01
Is the entry fee of $500 for this competition returned to you as it was last year? If not then £300 or so for a 200 bird shoot is a wee bit steep.
Sian
There's talk it is not refunded but then if you are any good the prize fund is impressive as are the daily draws with iPads, truck etc there to be won.

Catamong
Yes, and only 2 classes, Men or Women, I was told that the organisers had listened to feedback from last year and were going to spread the prize money to make it more appealing to everybody, but obviously not. Good luck to any PW members who make the effort.. Cat.
figgy
I'd need more than an effort, a bloody miracle for me to win any money back. Not for me this one Catamong they may have blown it this year then. Last year with entrance money back people didn't mind to much, now only the best will be in with a chance of money. Classes gives people more chance. Figgy
Will Poon
I think a lot of shooters are wanting to experience this venue more than wanting to win from it, as I'm one if those shooters

Mr Potter
Ed, hope you'll still speak to us when you're $200,000 richer? Seriously though, I know it's nearly 5 months away but good luck to all going to this shoot, Ed for the win and the rest for the experience. figgy
Good luck to any of the folk having this. The experience would be good, the overall cost is prohibitive for most of us. After last year I'm not surprised at how fast it's selling out places. Hopefully one of the Brits will win it,even better if they shoot a Kreighoff Figgy Edited October 13, 2014 by figgy

oldwoman
Ed, I see it states on their website 334 registered so far, but I wondered if there was somewhere where you can view the competitors names who have registered for the event. figgy
I'm there for a fantastic holiday with my wife, the shooting comes second You keep telling her that and you won't get to shoot, when she sees all the shopping and things to do. Going out to the desert to hear bang bang ******** won't appeal for long Hope you smash it Figgy
