wingy88
Hey Everyone Just had my visit from the police, they checked my safe and said everything was ok and my certificate should be delivered in about 2 weeks. So i'm going to be looking for my first gun. I want to get a gun that fits me so i need to go to a shop as i dont really have the experience to know if it does properly. People have recommended the rugby gun shop which seems a good shop but majority of there guns are in there thousands where as my budget is more like 500 - 800. Can anyone recommend a shop that has a good stock of guns in this price range? i don't mind travelling if there good. thanks carl (coventry)
HDAV
The gun shop rugby you can try guns at their ground barby sporting before you buy. You can also have lessons there for your budget you should get something tidy used. ict_guy
The Rugby shop also sell 2nd hand guns - their website is pretty uptodate, so I was informed. I went in there last week and they were great - knew exactly what would work for me. I am in the process of applying for my SGC in Warwickshire - mind me asking how long your application took? Alycidon
Norman Clarke is more a rifle specialist than shotguns. For shotguns I would recommend Rugby Gun, I shoot with the owner who is a very decent and honest guy. They also have a nice clay ground at Barby for you to try it out. If they dont have what you want there they have another shop in Northampton and would I am sure bring guns over for you to look at. You will also have to go a very long way indeed to better his cartridge prices, especially on Eley. Olliesims
Ian coleys has a big selection not to far depending what part of Warwickshire your in, not far from Cheltenham good selection of shotguns, also shooting supplies in bromsgrove not too far from Warwickshire either and has quite a few different ones in stock, there is a "gun shop" not far from Stratford near ettington on a farm, ain't been for awhile it used to have some cheap secondhand shotguns

But he has a lot of older guns in there I would go and see terry at rugby gunshop I have brought my last 4 guns from him and he has always been a pleasure to deal with they should have a range of guns in your price range
