dead eye alan
I have 4 pole's from shoot warehouse and the top lug's are sort of soft and rubbery and never brake, but I also have a set of 4 that I cannot remember where i got them from and the lug's are hard and all have snapped off due to putting them in the bag points up. Does any one know where I can get new lug's preferably the soft type.
deny essex
If they are a screw in type then possibly fishing rod rest tops may fit, available from angling shops, take a pole to your local angling shop if you try that.. Bobba
I use what I believe are called crocodile clips ( because their shape is like the nose of a crocodile), or similar black sprung clips, from £ stores. These clip the net to the top of the pole. They have other uses like clipping the net to the poles in windy condition to stop it flapping. Greenhunter
I always saw the curved loop at the top off anyway. Makes it easier to fix the net and I use crocodile clips. I wouldn't worry about broken tops, the pigeons won't care! GH
dead eye alan
Thank's to you all for your input, I have the £ shop crock clips so will not bother trying to replace the broken bits.
Cambsman
Croc clips every time. Travel light, just take net, use clips to rig net in hedge. Jobs a good 'un.
