Kes
I know of nobody who has claimed. As for a bullet through the roof - mind-blowing - almost literally.
karm2803
I wonder how many cars/vehicles get shot every year it seems quite common judging by the replies?
super sharp shooter
I know of nobody who has claimed. As for a bullet through the roof - mind-blowing - almost literally. My mate doesn't shoot with the guy that did it. It wasn't far from a tragic accident about 12" Edited January 15, 2015 by super sharp shooter
David BASC
We get about 50 claims a year, mostly property damage. David
Dougy
Just wondering here, If someone were to shoot a hole in the car roof what would the process be with regards to insurance claim, would a negligent discharge need to be reported to the local police I am thinking not but just wondering. And no there is not a hole in the back of my pickup
Whitebridges
Never had a claim and touch wood will never have to claim. All the good ol' boys i shoot with have never claimed either. Reading the above is a bit scary don't you think?
al4x
it depends a little and might not be negligent, from the back of a pickup if you shoot at a close rabbit you have the potential to see it in the cross hairs but not twig that the barrel is pointing at the roof. I've seen it done by someone resting on the bonnet and aiming over the A pillar and just catching it, also know someone who did it to a landrover bonnet. All shots as erm safe as possible none resulted in claims just lessons learned and lots of wee taking in the pub.
