I wonder how many cars/vehicles get shot every year it seems quite common judging by the replies?

I use seal skinz good grip waterproof and you can peel the index fingers and thumbs back for when you are doing fiddly things ooh erhh

I put my application in on a Monday and they phoned me on the Wednesday to visit on the Thursday That was Northumbria Police who I must say were great from start to finish. They said it was a 10 week turn around but I had my cert within 8 weeks

I live less than 60 miles from the border and quite often go up to a mates shooting, how would this affect me? Would I have to apply for a licence for my air rifles I'm ok with my shot gun but we shoot branchers with our air rifles (these are 12 flbs) IE no FAC needed

Hello fellow Geordie -
No I've never taken any lessons I was lucky and had friends who shot shotguns and used to shoot clays with them. I'm not really into shotguns.Rifles are more my thing so that's more what I do.

You can take lessons at steve Smith's Shooting ground in Dinnington. I think it's about £50 an hour (Don't quote me on that one) But if you have your own gun etc it might be cheaper
