Catton Carl
Clay Shooting Day................ just a few ideas if you are interested, As some of you may realise we have just started up the simulated driven clay shoots on the Catton Park Estate Derbyshire , the venue for the last four years pigeon watch rifle shoots, the simulated game lorries were used on the event and all that shot them did seem to enjoy the thrill and speed of the targets produced. Now could you lot handle a full day of this..... ? 5 drives all in different locations around the sporting Catton Park Estate using some of the actual drives used on the pheasant and partridge days, all the drives are done to simulate game birds and normally end up with glowing barrels and happy faces. Some very high testing pheasants scores of fast partridge whizzing over your heads, we can also simulate ducks coming into a pond or pigeons dropping in on fields to feed . you never know what to expect other than a very challenging fun day, The day starts with a Bacon cob and tea / coffee served in the Catton Hall Shoot room, a short briefing of what to expect of the day and you will all receive full safety equipment for you to use on the day and take away with you at the end of the day, You will then all be taken to the first then second drive of the day in our gun trailer , so no need to use your own vehicle. we then stop for elevenses .... a little sloe gin or a soft drink and a few nibbles. then off to do a further 3 drives at the end of the day you will of had the chance to shoot at over 3000 clays and buy this time worked up an appetite so then off to a local pub for a steak dinner and a couple more guzzlers, vegetarian option available "a Carrot" The basic day is booked around 14 people although this can be adapted or changed to your preference £180 per person cartridges not included, but we can supply them. ALL cartridges MUST be fibre wad. if any of your are interested in setting up a day then pass on your interest to fruitloop or myself, if there is more of you that would like to do this then I'm sure we could get the price down a bit, look forward to seeing how this goes..... welshwarrior
Guys if you've not done a sim day they are great fun and testing for all levels. £180 per gun is also a reasonable rate compare to many I've seen.
