Pykie
Took the Lil 28 out on my first roost shoot of this year. Had been encouraging amounts of pigeons seen in different areas and I went up my usual spot on top of a hill which is one of our pheasant drives. Started straight off with a cackling magpie out the tree, then smoked a woodie that managed to lodge up in the ivy. Had been a little hesitant taking the 28 bore but glad I did, especially with the Bornaghi 24gm 5s which were knocking them stone dead. Shot an extremely fast woodpigeon doing a good impression of a Spitfire and a long crosser that fell dead out of a tree five minutes later to be retrieved by my Sprocker. High light was a snapshot left and right as the sun began to go down, both dead in the air and both retrieved to hand. A long crossing crow also ended up in the bag. Total 11 woodpigeons, a magpie and a crow.

Whitebridges
Nice shooting by the sound of things. Recently i've been using a 28 bore and use Bornaghi 24gm 7's at roost which works a treat.

Suffolkngood
My 28 is only ever fed Bornaghis in #7, 6 and 5's If you're not confident in what you're shooting, you've already missed before you've pull the trigger. Well done on a successful roost.
Salop Matt
Nice shooting. All this talk of small calibres is making me desire a .410 O/U. ATB Matt

Suffolkngood
Nice shooting. All this talk of small calibres is making me desire a .410 O/U. ATB Matt I was the same and went out and bought my first .410 recently. Used it a couple of times on driven game and can't wait for Lakenheath (Eriswell Gun Club) re open to give it a proper try out.
