Traztaz
Guys I have the chance of two semi autos, 1 Franchi 5 shot semi auto. full choke , caliber 12/70. 28 inch barrel. 2 Beretta 3 shot semi auto.Calibre 12/70. 55cm barrel Mod A 304 Silver Lark. True cylinder. rifle sights. Which of these is the best and what are they realistically worth? Both are in top condition and I am off to try them out next Sunday. I need to know really what is a fair price for them. Thanks
Xr1200
Franchi is no good unless u have FAC
Gordon R
Beretta - £400. Franchi - £100, if you have an FAC.
fenboy
Franchi is no good unless u have FAC He is in Germany , no doubt the law is different. Beretta is the better gun but with a cylinder barrel and rifle sights it would be a gun for using solid slug , and will be of limited use for anything else. Traztaz
So the Beretta will be no good for shooting shot then? A real slug gun? The guy is asking more like 150 quid for the Franchi, is it too much? 5 Shot no problem over here
Gordon R
Depends whether it is a gas or recoil auto. gas is worth more. The recoil autos are an acquired taste. I had one for a couple of weeks, but never got on with the gun bouncing around on my shoulder.
fenboy
Unless you want a gun for shooting solid slug at deer or boar then the Franchi would be the better choice .
Bluebarrels
Go with the Beretta mate everyone knows that a better named gun makes you a better shot BB
ayano3
Beretta do a silver lark for normal cartridges too I believe.
Scully
If the Franchi is the 712 I'd opt for that, if not, the Beretta.
stu nesling
what model franchi is it pse? 21 inch barrel as fenboy says is probably a slug gun, especially with the sights it has. if its a 712 i would take that, as its basically a benelli complete with rotating bolt etc but iam biased
Guest stevo
I too would go for the franchi unless like others have said your going to shoot deer or pigs .
