Big Al
I've never used the steel loads but back in the days of lead shot my standard duck load was Clever Mirage 36g 5s. They weren't cheap but were a really super cartridge.
Ttfjlc
Fingers crossed they know what they're doing then with steel
motty
I saw them in there when I went on Monday. I have never used them, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy some, provided the price was right. The Clever lead clay shells are very good for pigeons.

I've heard good reports about the clay shells, these goose loads were £

Ttfjlc
I unfortunately don't have anywhere at home to hide the gunpowder from my 2 year old so I play it safe.
ayano3
What shot size are these ?? I may need to pop in to see C & M for some pigeon cartridges so may try stock up whilst I'm there.

strangford wildfowler
I thought they would have been a heavier load, I have some of the lead 3 1/2" cases in number 2s and there 66 grams
fenboy
I thought they would have been a heavier load, I have some of the lead 3 1/2" cases in number 2s and there 66 grams Steel is lighter than lead so takes up more room in the case , even the heaviest steel loads are only 42-44 grams
Guest cookoff013
Clever shells are decent. Used there premium load ages ago.
Ttfjlc
Clever shells are decent. Used there premium load ages ago. Ok cheers, the only thing I noticed was the size of the box, I reckon you could fit 25 10 bore shells in it instead of 12's. I would have thought that Gamebore Mammoth would be a better bet. Certainly cheaper.
