Underdog
So rather than stuff a 12 g cartridge in you stuff in a liner, fumble for a 410 cartridge and let loose half the load you could have shot earlier....or am i missing something??A little, in days of old when most had just one gun this was an attractive alternative o buying another gun.So rats in the barn could be done with gramps old 12g. deadeye18
I could see this being handy, out for a few pigeons with the 12bore then a mooch around for a few rats or whatever on the way home with a few extra 410 carts you threw in the bag just in case eh. ditchman
The first 410 i had "access" to..........was a beaut'.......it was a Boss.....side by side...what was later described to me as an "apprentice" piece.....you could not tell the differance between it and a 12 bore...they were excactly the same cept for scale......i strapped it to my crossbar and went everywhere with it...it wasnt until years later i found out how rare it was !....it makes me wince to think how i "used" it
