Underdog
You can't appreciate a well fitting sxs until you try one. Then it clicks, the ease of use and a joy to carry. U.
Caravanman
Indeed. I only ever used it on formal days and rough shoots but the last 2 outings in the hide have been a revelation. I have a feeling the pump will be getting left behind from now on.
spinach
Great wood!! I've got a 26" sabel hide gun that points so quickly it's a joy shame the stock is just short and it needs a comb riser. Looks tatty but is great for woodcock and walked up. Only real problem is you know you've been using it after a day!! John.

Last night i went squirel bashing with it too, its such a joy to use and my cartridge to kill ratio is about 80 percent now! Guest cookoff013
i reload subs for my sxs, i love the old classic shells, almost no recoil even in these and total control over distance, shells and shot size in an instant. these sxs were never ever designed to shoot 1400fps + loads. Caravanman
It is a lovely gun. Got it from my father who bought it second hand at the end of the 90's.

jfletch88
Used my SxS the last couple of weekends and always forget how well it fits. They're extremely fun to shoot as well!
norfolk dumpling
I've got an old Gunmark Black Sabel that I love. Bought cheap as a short stock but I'm only 5'4 and it fits me well. I bring it out on beaters days as a treat.
