walt1980
Morning, A mate of mine is after one of these and is struggling to find a decent second hand one, I'm sure he's not looking hard enough but is there a bit of a shortage of them? Kinda remember seeing people were looking for them before!!
saddler
He may have to be patient More people looking than there are decent ones available
welshwarrior
I had a decent one for 5 day before another dealer bought it off me for silly money and sold it as it was immaculate for a nice profit to a client who had been after one for a long time
Underdog
Tell him get a proper one. Lol ;-)
Livefast123
Personally I'd save a pile of dosh and buy a Rossi 92 in .44 Mag . Mine is slicker than a slick thing and weaver rails are available for the newer ones Edited June 3, 2015 by Livefast123
phaedra1106
Or do it properly and buy a Henry Big Boy instead
saddler
Glad I went with my Winchester 94...though a Winchester (or Browning) Model 92 take-down would quickly replace if they weren't so expensive!

Psyxologos
The new Marlins (2014 and 2015 made) are free of the problems the guns had after Marlin was taken over by Remington. Or so I am led to believe. I am in the market for a .357/.38 special and this is what I found after doing a lot of reading. A new one is about £900 so I think this is where I am going to go. Second had ones (pre Remington) are also coming down in price now. The price was hight because the circa 2007 'Remlins' were ridden with problems, apparently. If you are after a new one (I believe the teething problems with the Remlins have been sorted now) Daniel at Valmont posted only a week or 2 ago on facebook saying he had a delivery due. May be worth checking.
