Hi , got a problem with my hw100 , I noticed last week when I charged my rifle that air was leaking which I think was around the cylinder , so I nipped it up and it stopped , so again the same thing this evening took my rifle out and the cylinder was completely flat , so I charged it up and when it reached around 170 bar it started to leak again , would this be the small oring which the cylinder seals to ?.many thanks

Well picardy,,firstly yes it probably is the seal in the cylinder ,but be prepared for many more leaks as these are renowned for leaking iv'e had 3 all brand new guns which all leaked from either the block ,cylinder, or the reg failed etc etc hence i got rid and will never touch another hw again .

Ive had mine for about 4 years, and only just had to sort seals out, they are rubber and it does wear woth age. Its served me well and is a solid build, even my local daystate specialist admitted having a soft spot for the 100... Id just get the seals sorted and carry on enjoying the rifle..

..edit... Gun was pre owned so seals are older than 4yrs

That evo would jump on this thread was,of course, inevitable but it would be interesting to go back over, say, the last 300 posts and see how many Daystates were in need of repair and how much said repairs were likely to cost.HW seals do seem to fail I must admit but my mates 100 lasted 6 years before it needed any work doing and a simple seal job became a nightmare in the hands of The Hull Cartridge co.-in fact the gun never worked correctly again and he now uses a S510. Daystates benefit from more supple Seal materials-Chewing Gum,Bogies and Knicker elastic all being used depending upon the day of the week.
