There is no doubt that I am a fine weather man when it comes to decoying. I just cannot stand getting wet through and afterwards having to deal with soggy kit. Today I may have found a solution.

 

This tent is 2m tall, is big enough for two men and several dogs and there is even a tray at hip height for cartridges and flasks. The whole thing weighs less than 5lbs and it can be erected in minutes. It is supposed to be a greenhouse. The cost is £45. Bargain.

 

Would I be seen dead in one? Not likely.

I had one of those in my garden a few years ago and on a particularly windy day, known as Hurricane Bawbag in Scotland, it flew clean over my neighbours house.

 

Although in fairness had JDog been out in that wind wearing his bunnet he may have flown clean over the house too
