I went every year from 1984 to 2007 not been since until this year it won't drag me back good job I got a free ticket because I would have been mad paying £35 on Friday . rtaylor Posted August 2, 2015 Report Share Posted August 2, 2015 I went on the Saturday. Very disappointed indeed. Went about 3 years ago and it was easily twice the size. We arrived at half 7 and had been round the whole lot and left by 2! Last time I didn't even get time to go up gun makers row. I was looking out for a second hand 308, I don't think there was more than 10 available in the whole place. For £30 entry I won't bother next year. johnnytheboy Posted August 5, 2015 Report Share Posted August 5, 2015 First time I have been and thought it was excellent who ever said the food was terrible was getting cursed, I took sandwiches from the petrol station, then I seen folk walking about with burgers with black pudding, chilli burritos, whilst I ate my day old soggy sandwich! rovercoupe Posted August 5, 2015 Report Share Posted August 5, 2015 Went for 2 days and had a great time, saw some of the displays in the main arena to keep the other half happy, she wanted to go and watch more of the timbersports and we got loads of freebies off them. bought some new toys and got some good advice from the clay and game stand off a verrrry nice girl and got some free drinks from the dubarry girls too! I feel for the traders with the costs being so high but there were still a few odd stands like a guy who will spray paint in a chavvy way your name on a baseball hat?? he was not busy!
