geoffwales
Chuffed to bits, after getting nothing for an hour at stables i noticed a field across the river covered in crows and pigeons. I drove around and found the farm, mentioned to the owner where i was shooting and had noticed corvids on his land. I then politely requested the opportunity to shoot and sort this particular field out and he offered me the 70 acres in full. Thing was he was an elderly farmer who i could have just talked to all day, he was so interesting and had some many stories to tell about growing up in the area. Im going back tomorrow to get my perm signed. Geoff Now i will need camo net and a seat next ool.

Roy King
that's the best way to get permission, get to chat face to face, offer help as and when they need it [harvest time etc ]. Works for me I have 4 farms to shoot on.. about 600 acres.

geoffwales
All signed, what a gentleman. Proper old time farmer an absolute oracle of information, i could have just chatted all day he got a map of the land and highlighted whats his, best positions, current issues and then gave me the details of the farmer next door. Brilliant, just hope i do it justice
