hodge911 Posted September 4, 2015 Report Share Posted September 4, 2015 eventually got round to making my first batch of home loads for my .243 and took myself off to bisley shooting Scotland pipe range to try them out . range distance as measured with my range finder 112yds so myself and 2 mates had a trip up and booked the pipe or 3 hours . one mate got his new 22.250 zero,d along with his .308 one mate had a mare of a day with his .308 xbolt snapping its scope mount and I had a very nice go with the ruger .243 I got from kdubya and my home loads of...85gr speer BTSP bullet 35gr of varget powder . the first ring away from the bull is 25mm dia Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's something I look at, certainly if developing a new load. not sure mate I got a tub off kdubya when I bought the rifle off him but have seen in a local rfd the last couple times I,ve been in Where did you get them Speer's? They were a fave of mine a long time ago.
