spandit
As I posted in the rabbit kills thread, I saw a rabbit and grabbed the rifle from the cabinet (with ammo cabinet inside, which had bolt, magazine and mod in it too). Assembled it as I ran up the stairs and was ready to fire in under a minute. How long does it take you to get ready should the opportunity arise? CharlieT
About the same as you. Keep key in my pocket. Run to the cabinet, grab rifle with bolt already in, open ammo box, grab mag and shove in gun, fire through window.............1 dead squirrel = one happy bird feeder. spandit
did you get the rabbit. I did, but I think it went away and came back again. My upstairs windows tilt open and at full tilt, to shoot at where the rabbit was, the scope is partially obscured by the frame (whereas the barrel is clear). It's really annoying because I often see quarry further away (the rabbit was about 70 yards) but the window doesn't open that far...
Zetter
On this subject has anyone had a dumb rabbit and I am not on about one with mixy. The other day I walked on the perm and say some bunnies gun was in the case bolt out and unloaded. The bunnys let me walk up to 40 yards, put the case down, take rifle out, put in bolt, get mag/ bullets out, load mag, load gun, cycle bolt, put gun on sticks, not happy with backstop so moved and extendeded stick for standing shot, shot bunny. And the silly sod just sat there munching away with two if its mates
