A friend of mine had used them on the forshore. He dosnt bother these days. When we were both decoying , I would use floating decoys and he used a mix of floaters and a spinning wing decoy (mojo ) , but there was little diffferance between our bags and some days the duck shyed off the mojo. They are big heavy things to lug out onto the saltmarsh and I suspect you will do at least as well with standard floating decoys.

ended up going to fosdyke end took me over a hour to walk to where I thought might prouduce the odd duck took me old boy lab whos 12 now so had to keep stopping for him to have a breather and me.ended up past the 1st wood round the bend and chose a creek close to the bank so I no I was safe as it predicted a big tide put a handful of deeks in the creek and the spinner on the bank had 1 teal whip through at 1st light but was to fast for me never got the gun up before it was of into the gloom and that wasit saw 2 mallard flying the river a lot of mallard getting up of the drain when I was walking up the bank but they never showed up heard a few shots comeing from round the corner towards lawyers and sheps. had a drive down to see if I could find lawyers when I wrapped up but ended up getting lost so headed home
